Chester Quarry

The Chester Quarry was originally mined for sand by Harriman Trucking in the 60s. The property was acquired by Frank Litito and approved by DEC as a rock quarry in the early 2000s. Nick Fitzpatrick acquired the property from Frank Litito in January 2022, recognizing its strategic potential not only as a quarry but also as a future industrial site with rail access. Under the new ownership of Aden Mining & Materials Corp, the quarry was brought online as our most southern location to serve lower Orange County and Rockland. In 2022 significant investment went into stormwater retention facilities, site work and opening the rockface, as well as adding a certified scale.
