Bloomingburg Quarry: Originally operated as a popular ski destination featuring a rope tow lift, this scenic location in Bloomingburg, NY, eventually transitioned from a recreational site to a pivotal aggregate production area due to its rich natural resources.

Grosso: Established by Al Grosso, this facility initially focused on excavation with ambitions to produce its own materials for various projects. The facility later shifted its primary focus to operating the quarry, marking the beginning of a significant phase in its development.

1980s
Javelin Quarry: Howard Shapiro commenced sand mining activities at the site. The sand extracted during this period was primarily used for construction related to the expansion and maintenance of local infrastructure.

1990s
Javelin Quarry: Under Howard Shapiro’s management, the quarry received formal DEC and Town Approval to operate as a commercial mine, marking a significant step in its development as a recognized industrial site.
Bloomingburg Quarry: The quarry was identified for its high-quality soil which was ideal for creating fine sand and decorative, natural gravel. These materials became essential for numerous state projects across New York and New Jersey.

2000s
Bloomingburg Quarry: The site underwent a transformation into a critical supply point for road salt with a proposal from Cargill Salt to construct two large storage buildings, greatly enhancing its strategic importance to the region.

2018
Javelin Quarry: In December, Nick Fitzpatrick acquired the quarry from Howard Shapiro. This acquisition marked a new direction for the quarry with a focus on hard rock mining and crushing to produce aggregate materials.
The Montgomery Sales Yard: Established in 2018 after the sale of the former farm site to Medline Industries, this quarry stands as a beacon of our company’s progress. This 220-acre site not only serves as our headquarters but also thrives as a bustling sales yard for our wide range of materials.

2019
Javelin Quarry: A certified truck scale was installed, and operations expanded to include blasting and crushing, producing various types of crushed rock materials aimed at meeting the needs of the local commercial construction industry.

2021
Javelin Quarry: Recognizing the successful sales and demand for its products, the need for an upgraded plant at the quarry became evident.
Bloomingburg Quarry: Aden Aggregates, under Nick Fitzpatrick’s leadership, acquired the site in October. Significant investments were made to modernize the facility, including the installation of a state-of-the-art wash plant to enhance material production capabilities.

Chester Quarry: Acquired by Nick Fitzpatrick in January, this property, once a key hub for Harriman Trucking, began a phase of revitalization to align with Aden Aggregates’ mission of being a leading supplier of quality materials.
MT Marion: Purchased by Aden Aggregates in September, the facility underwent substantial transformations, enhancing its role as a vital salt yard and introducing a variety of bulk materials available to the public.

Javelin Quarry: The site processed a record amount of material, solidifying its position as a major provider for hundreds of customers in the region.
Grosso: Acquired by Nick Fitzpatrick and Aden Aggregates in October, the facility experienced a series of enhancements aimed at improving operational efficiency.
